Air Blow Fans was formed in South Africa in the wake of the country’s first democratic elections, in the latter half of the 1990s. We have since expanded our footprint across Africa, into Asia and both Americas. Quality, safety and meaningful corporate citizenship are at the core of our business success. As such, Air Blow Fans is a registered ISO 9001:2015 company, audited and certified by TUV Rheinland. ABF is committed to the implementation and maintenance of a suitable Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) System that complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act no. 85 of 1993 (as amended). We are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB Level 6) as well as with the South African Institute of Welders (SAIW). Finally, we are also fully B-BBEE compliant, with level 4 Certification.

Shanta Mining Company Limited, a subsidiary of Shanta Gold, has been associated with Air Blow Fans since 2017, when our underground operations were established. To date, ABF has supplied three separate up-cast shaft ventilation fans to New Luika Gold Mine (NLGM) in southern Tanzania, all on time and all of which perform as, or better than, “specced.” The exhaust fans, 2.6m diameter Vane Axial Flow fans, with variable speed drives and e-houses, are extremely energy efficient and environmentally friendly. We have established an exceptional working relationship with Air Blow Fans and will not hesitate to make use of them again.
