Our Expertise

Established in 1998, Air Blow Fans specialises in custom-designed extractor fans and mining ventilation systems, available in both a centrifugal fan range and an axial fan range. As a service-focused fan supplier, we also offer engineering services, refurbishments and spare equipment, remote monitoring and fan selection software.

Quality, safety and meaningful corporate citizenship are at the core of our business success. As such, Air Blow Fans is a registered ISO 9001:2015 company, audited and certified by TUV Rheinland. ABF is committed to the implementation and maintenance of a suitable Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) System that complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act no. 85 of 1993 (as amended). We are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) as well as with the South African Institute of Welders (SAIW). Finally, we are also fully B-BBEE compliant, with level 4 Certification.

Awards & Accolades

Air Blow Fans is proud to have won the Da Vinci Award for Best Innovation Concept (Medium Enterprise) at the 2021 tt100 Business Innovation Awards ceremony in November 2021 for our in-house designed and developed Axial Flow Fans. This, in addition to being finalists in the “Excellence in the Management of People”, “Excellence in the Management of Innovation” and “Excellence in the Management of Technology” categories. The tt100 awards programme focuses on organisations and individuals that operate within developing socio-economic contexts. Emphasis is placed on how the organisation manages its technology, innovation and people within a systemic context and who, despite increasingly difficult times, continue to be agile, aligned and engaged.

We may not like to have our photos taken but that doesn’t mean we are shy. We enjoy a good cup of coffee and value face-to-face connections with both our clients and suppliers. Throughout the process of receiving a bespoke ventilation system, you will deal with real people – from our sales team to our management, from our engineers through to our installation experts.
